Pink Owl Diaper Cake

This cake is a direct result of someone finding my blog online!  Before, all my cakes were created for friends.  Thanks to those friends for giving me the opportunity to be creative!  And, thank you to my first outside customer for giving me the chance to work with you to create a beautiful cake for Baby London! It's great to know that my hard work is starting to show and people like what I do... :)

One of the hardest things about making baby cakes is finding the perfect items to go together.  I typically ask for the nursery theme and colors.  Putting those two things together can sometimes prove to be challenging!  Many times I find the theme but not the right colors, or in the right size to fit the cake.  For this cake, I had no trouble finding pink owls; however, they kept being entirely too big!  My husband was kind enough to come along with me for this shopping trip.  After a few stores, he found my cake topper!
